The Town of West Springfield Assessor's Office was notified on Nov. 30,2007 by the Mass. Dept of Revenue (DOR) that the Town's FY 2008 Triennial Program was approved. The new assessments are now available for review beginning on January 12, 2008. The current Vision version is 6.4 and it was installed in July 2006. In May 2001 we contracted with Vision to provide CAMA data on our website (www.west-springfield.ma.us). Information provided is the basis of assessed valuations in West Springfield, as of <31>December, 2006, and will be updated on an annual basis. In March 2003 photos of improved parcels were added to the data base. Homes built prior to January 2006 should be shown. This will become an annual maintenance function.
A new Parcel ID number has been added to this system and is identified as the Account Number. This ID matches the Town Collectors Tax Billing parcel ID. This number should be used when making inquires for Municipal Lien Certificates or other tax billing matters.
