Overview of Current Market Conditions

The charts below provide information about both current and historical real estate market conditions in Ellington. We hope that an illustration of these market conditions will lead to a better understanding of how new assessed values were derived.

The two charts show why an overall value decrease is the result for the majority of single-family homes while a slight increase was the result for condominiums for this revaluation. The previous assessed values are based on market conditions from 2005. Although there was a decline from 2005 the median sale price has been fairly consistent over the past three years.
