Update from the Assessor

As you may be aware from newspaper, television, and on-line reports, the Rhode Island real estate market has been extremely active over the last four or five years. In South Kingstown, the rate of increase from 2003 through 2006 was 24% *. As you will see if you look at the links to the right, specifically Taxpayer Assistance, Overview of Market Conditions, these increases have affected different property types at varying rates.
