The Information provided in this database reflects the new assessed valuation for each individual Town of Suffield property for the Oct. 1, 2008 Grand List. This database also provides the user with an explanation of the revaluation process (SEE TAXPAYER INFORMATION).Both the Assessor's office and Vision Appraisal Technology would like to thank the Town of Suffield, CT residents for their cooperation throughout this important project. ***A Comment on Current Market Conditions*** Revaluations completed in 2008 are updating property values from those established in 2003. It is important to note that although the current economic downturn has negatively affected property values, in most cases, those values have not yet declined to levels established in 2003. Therefore, values in your Community may still show an increase from 2003. In the past few years many Communities had seen increases in the range of 50% to 70%. This year, increases are much less aggressive, as the market moves downward.
