The Rowley Board of Assessors has contracted Vision Appraisal Technology of Northborough, Massachusetts to provide online assessment information. The information provided in this database is the basis of valuation for each Town of Rowley, MA property for fiscal year 2012 (January 1, 2011 assessment date). This database also provides the user with an explanation of the revaluation process and notifications of ongoing assessment programs.The Fiscal Year 2012 Tax Rate is $13.92 per $1,000 in value.

The Board of Assessors has also contracted Vision Appraisal to complete a 3 year Re-Measure and Re-List of all properties in Town as mandated by the Massachusetts Department of Revenue. This 3 phase program involves measuring the exterior and inspecting the interior of all buildings. A photograph of the exterior of all buildings will be taken to update the photographs we currently have on file.
The program will be completed in the following phases:
Phase 1 - Maps 1 through 10 was completed in the summer of 2010.
Phase 2 - Maps 11 through 22 will be completed during the spring/summer of 2011.
Phase 3 - Maps 23 through 38 will be completed during the spring/summer of 2012.
There will be notifications put in the tax bills, local newspaper, posted at the COA, Library and in Town Hall informing residents when each phase will begin.
