Revaluations completed in 2010 are updating property values from those established in 2005. It is important to note that although the current economic downturn has negatively affected property values, in most cases, those values have not yet declined to levels established in 2005. Therefore, some values in your Community may still show an increase from 2005. In the past few years many Communities had seen increases in the range of 50% to 70%. This year, increases are much less aggressive, as the market moves downward.
