This site has fiscal 2008 assessed values with "Owner of Record" as of January 1, 2007. Fiscal 2008 began July 1, 2007 and ends on June 30, 2008.The fiscal 2008 tax rate of $16.96 was approved by the Department of Revenue on 12/7/2007. The Select Board voted on 12/3/2007 to maintain a single tax rate for all property classes. Taxpayers may call 413-565-4115 or visit the office Monday-Thursday between 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:15-noon with questions and/or concerns related to assessments, new tax rate, abatements, etc. Please note that abatements can only be filed after "actual" bills are mailed (late December, 2007) and must be in the Assessors' Office by February 1, 2008.
