This is a static database that has the town of Longmeadow's fiscal 2012 assessed values with "Owner of Record" as of January 1, 2011. Owner of Record is used for tax billing purposes and is only updated on this site on a yearly basis. (Fiscal 2012 began July 1, 2011 and ends on June 30, 2012.) The fiscal 2012 tax rate of $19.68 was approved by the D.O.R. on 12/13/2011. It is $.93 more than last year's rate. The Select Board voted on 12/5/2011 to maintain a single tax rate for all property classes. Taxpayers may call 413-565-4115 or visit the office Monday-Thursday between 8:15 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. and Friday 8:15-noon with questions and/or concerns related to assessments, new tax rate, abatement applications, etc. Please note that property abatement applications can only be filed after "actual" bills are mailed (late December) and must be in the Assessors' Office by February 1, 2012.
