The Assessing Department has completed its Triennial Revaluation for Fiscal Year 2008. This revaluation is an analysis of market trends, assessment levels and uniformity of all properties to achieve full and fair cash value of assessments. This work is done in accordance with the requirements of Massachusetts General Laws Chapter 40 Sec 56 and Chapter 58 sec 1, 1A, and 3. The Assessing Department continues its goal to keep our values current and our records accurate. This site will be updated periodicallly. On December 12th, 2007 we were certified by the Department of Revenue for Fiscal Year 2008 values. If you have any questions you can contact the Assessing Department during regular Town Hall business hours. The current tax rate is $12.68 per thousand of value.
