The valuations presented here are for FY2011 (July 1, 2010 to June 30, 2011) and have an assessment date of January 1, 2010. The FY2011 tax rate of $3.40 per thousand was certified by the Department of Revenue on 12/16/2010.

The town is currently conducting a revaluation and certification of property values for FY2012, and those values will be posted as soon as the project is completed.

ALSO PLEASE NOTE THAT SOME PARCEL NUMBERS WILL BE CHANGED FOR FY2012 IN ORDER TO IMPROVE THE TAX MAPS. A LIST OF ALL THE PARCELS WHOSE NUMBERS WILL BE DIFFERENT FROM FY2011 TO FY2012 IS AVAILABLE ON THE TOWN WEBSITE - EDGARTOWN-MA.US. PLEASE LOOK IN “DOWNLOADS - APPLICATIONS - ASSESSOR” FOR THE DOCUMENT NAMED "Parcel Number Changes effective FY2012".

This website will allow the user to search for properties by street address, by owner name, or by map-block-lot. An explanation of the revaluation process is also available. We encourage taxpayers to look over the information on their property and contact us if any discrepancies are found. Accurate property data results in fair assessments for all taxpayers.
