Beginning in May, 2010, the assessor's office began reinspecting all properties in town.The reinspection program will take 3-4 years to complete. A data collector will visit each house and ask to reinspect the home to confirm the data currently on record.This process only takes 5-10 minutes for a typical house.This will ensure the fairest assessments for everyone.Through November,2011 we have visited approximately 6500 houses. Your cooperation is appreciated.

For FY2012 most residents will see a small VALUE reduction if there were no physical changes to the property prior to July 1, 2011. THE ASSESSMENT DATE FOR FY2012 IS JAN 1, 2011.All values are as of Jan 1, 2011.
