For fiscal year 2010, The Town of Brookfield, CT has again contracted with Vision Appraisal Technology of Northboro, Ma. to assist with the state mandated revaluation. The information currently provided in this database reflects the valuation for Town of Brookfield, CT property for the 2009 grand list. A large part of this project will entail the collection and verification of data for all properties in Town. Starting in June, data collection will begin and will continue for several months. Data Collection personnel will carry a Vision Appraisal Identification card and an introduction letter from the Assessor’s office. Once preliminary 2010 numbers are established, the database information will be updated to reflect the new proposed assessments. This website also provides the taxpayer with an explanation of the revaluation process and answers to commonly asked questions. Both the Assessor’s office and Vision Appraisal Technology would like to thank the residents of the Town of Brookfield, CT for their cooperation throughout this important project.
